Can I send a letter, a postcard, or documents by standard courier services?

Yes, as long as they are well packaged, you can send paper documents, letters or even pictures by standard courier services. We strongly suggest using padded or cardboard envelopes to assure the safety of the content. Have in mind that, since the standard courier services are meant to be used for parcels, your paper items will be treated as such. If you plan to send important documents such as contracts or passports, we strongly suggest you consider using our specialised premium insurance under the guidance of our logistic masters.

What is the difference between LTL and FTL?

LTL, or ‘less than truckload’, refers to palletised shipments which do not require the entire space of the truck for transport by road. Instead, the area inside the vehicle is shared with other shippers, saving you the cost of reserving a truck that will ride with empty space. On the other hand, FTL, which means ‘full truckload’, is ideal for shipments which do require an entire vehicle. FTL is a faster way of transporting freight than LTL, as your goods are transported directly to their destination, without diversion.

Is transport insurance included when booking transport service at logify?

Yes, when booking a delivery service with us, you have basic transport insurance already included in the price. For extra protection for your shipments, we offer additional insurance options at extremely affordable rates, which can be purchased during the booking process.

Do I need to label my freight shipment?

Not necessarily. You do not need to label your shipment unless otherwise instructed to do so beforehand. In most cases, the driver will bring the shipping label, but please remove old tags from the cargo before collection. Make sure that the freight shipment has a flat surface where the driver will affix the label. In case you have to add the label yourself, we will provide this document via e-mail so you can print it and place it firmly on the load.
